Who makes it
Second Loonie is built by an independent developer in Ontario, Canada. It isn't connected to Poshmark, eBay, Depop, Meta, Kijiji or the Canada Revenue Agency.
How the numbers are checked
Every fee is checked against the platform's own fee page where we can reach it, and each calculator shows the date it was last checked. If a fee could only be found on another site, the calculator says so. The tax checkers are based on the CRA's own pages, and link to them.
The site's own tests fail if a fee hasn't been re-checked in six months, so the numbers can't quietly go stale.
Why it's free
The calculators and the tracker run in your browser. There are no accounts and no servers holding your data, so there's very little to pay for. There are no ads.
